Great to see you are moving right along Fewe. Next thing you know you'll be living with another person in a truck for 5-6 weeks!!!!!:biggrin_2559:

No worries, it's all part of the gig.:biggrin_25514:

Thanks y'all... the only problem I am having is all the double clutching is killing my left knee. Drove 130 miles today all around Memphis and West Memphis, AR and did some skills work for about 2 hours as well. Can't wait to start floating!!!! Had a layover at the Memphis terminal yesterday (Tuesday) while my road trainer was in a safety meeting. I'm really liking the Burnt Orange Prostars... I could almost hear them calling my name!!!

The other trainee on my truck quit today saying that it just wasn't for him and wasn't meant to be. We told him to stick it out and try a different trainer but he had already made up his mind that he was done. Looks like it could be just me on the truck through next Wednesday. That ought to give me about 55- 60 hours total drive time... I should be more than ready for the road test and what ever fresh hell my mentor has in mind.

I drove 156 miles today but it was more country roads than stop and go. My trainer took pity on me. Stopped by the terminal today for a driver switch and to get a bulb replaced on the trailer. Saw the Green Prostars and Orange Prostars and Purple Prostars and Blue Prostars and Silver Prostars... I think Swift is practicing subliminal advertising. Going by the terminal tomorrow morning for a B-Service on the tractor with a loaded trailer then more driving.

I'm here with my road trainer... He is very laid back which makes the process much easier. Been on the truck with him all this week and will be until next Wednesday when I go to Nashville to test. Then off with my mentor for 240 hours.
