That's good news Gearrat! You'll be on the road before you know it!

Glad to hear you aren't giving up RD. Orientation will be easy and quick, then out on the road with the Mentor.

I'm leaving tomorrow to meet my Mentor on sunday, then it's 6 weeks for me.

See y'all out on the road!

I checked out prime. They had over a year waiting list for females, unless they knew someone who would train them, who currently worked there.
    Don't, know Homer personally, LOL.

They did. Said it was due to inavailibility of trainers who would train females. The company would hire, but no trainers to train.

I talked to a lot of students at Millington who said their recruiters had told them meals would be furnished while in school. That is absolutely false. Swift did furnish one meal - lunch the first day. I went there expecting to pay for my meals, but many did not. Swift students are not even allowed the complementary motel breakfast that is available to other guests.

Also, be aware that you will need to pay for your cdl when you pass the DMV test. Many assumed that was included in their tuition.

Glad you started this thread. What motel do they use im Millington? I have to call tomorrow and get things set for the 9th. if I go I am guessing that I need to be there one day ahead of time.

Might get my GF to take Monday off and drive me down there. Maybe I'll drive myself. It would be nice to drive myself to orientation and have my Mentor pick me up near my house. I live 4 miles from I-40 near Nashville.
