Hey! Good to hear from ya again. Sorry about the Werner deal. I know you liked it there. I don't think you would have to go through school. I had to because it had been over a year since getting my cdl and I had not driven at all. Swift does the 48 and also has what is called comfort zones (very large regional areas). As far as pay, it really depends on experience I believe. They have a pretty informative web site and I think it mentions it on there. Good luck, friend, and let me know how it goes.

Got my medical release faxed in this morning. Doctor couldn't believe they needed a release for what I take, so if anyone takes any kind of meds or has any medical condition, don't assume it will be okay. Go the extra mile and get the release before you go, regardless of what your recruiter says. Looks like it will be the 11th before I can get back in. Time to play the waiting game again, LOL!

Not really sure. I think they look at your entire driving history, but length of time does make a difference. I answered each question honestly and did not leave out anything. If a question on the application states "Have you ever......bla bla bla", it means your entire lifetime. Otherwise, it will specify a certain time period. I know my background check went back over 35 years.

With five months recent experience, you will not have to go through the school, but you will have to go out with a mentor. You can't skip the mentor step until you have 6 months. Solo can run either all 48 or regional, but with some regions you may get fewer miles.
