thanks for the heads up.. i take meds for the blood pressure and its under control. as for dui,i got one about 25 years ago when i was a kid. i have only inquired to one co and was honest about any little thing that i could think of ,which isn't much since i've had the same career for 20 plus years. recruiter stated that during the background investigation if something comes up the be honest about it. i'm not a felon or anything like that, but we can forget things. looking forward to reading about your new adventure..thanks

donny here is what my teacher said to me because of my tickets. Don't give your name. I you can use a phone not registered to you for caller ID purposes.
I asked, "what is your policy on moving violations?"
In your case ask about the DUI. Don't tell them when and let them do the talking.
My only ticker on my 3 year is for 14 over. Swift has 5 years on their online application. The recruiter told me "however far back your state goes." I have 2 tickets in 3 1/2 years. Last time before 2006 was 1998. Then 1990.Donnyh Thanks this. -
I haven't updated in awhile. Been very busy. I am on my 4th day at the academy. Everything is so fast paced. I will update with detail soon. Took straight line backing test this morning and passed, but some had to take the test again after lunch. If you don't get it in 2 tries, you go home. Unfortunately one guy had to go. It is sad to see a classmate fail. Hopefully he won't give up completely.

So you are pretty much doing the 3 week driving course? I knew you had your CDL.
I am better on a blind side parallel, than a sight side!Texas-Nana Thanks this. -

I wish you all the best there Road Dust. I'll be looking for ya out there on the road.

We also had to do one side of the "Offset" or "Serpentine" back, which is pretty much the same as the parallel except instead of manuvering into the box, you manuver infront of the box then straightline into it. If we did the parallel, we didn't have to do the matching offset because it is the same manuver. Instead we did the 90 degree alley dock.
Good luck Road Dust. Just take your time and G.O.A.L!road dust Thanks this.
