Hate that I missed getting to meet you... I have been posted up at the Phoenix terminal on and off since 12/18. Enjoy your home time, after that much time out of the truck it will make you want your own truck that much more... which is a good thing.
As for all the information, I agree there is alot to absorb. The QC was kicking my butt up 'til the last day on my mentor's truck. He was constantly saying, "forgetting something?" when we would get to a shipper or receiver. I have only forgotten a couple of times to do a macro 1 or 5 but remembered a short time later. I guess doing it for real kinda puts everything into the front of your mind.scottied67 and AZS Thank this. -
I gotta come down for that sdd class before the end of the month. I think that was the main reason I got sent back but mentor took credit for it. haha. I will come down next week since they're doing it all month. This week not looking so good.

No Greyhound, mentor got a load coming to Phoenix to be T-called on Wednesday sometime. Sweet.
Fewe Thanks this. -
I will update this again when I'm done. About 90 hours to go, turns out I only had 86 total when I was home for break and not 100+. Oh, cost over $20 to do TWO loads of laundry today. Might just buy new clothes next time.
JustSonny, Longshot64 and Fewe Thank this. -
Home! Had to get a shuttle from Albuquerque to Phoenix from the day cab guys as there was no load flat or otherwise to get me back to Phoenix. That was cool other than I was trying to sleep and the guy kept talking to me.
Think I ended up around 260 hours total driving.
Telling you guys, that last day was tough. We were coming down through Utah into NM and doing those two lanes took FOREVER even if the scenery was incredible. Parted ways with the mentor in Albuquerque and now I'm home and I flew on the drive home in my car.Feels good.
Next week is the road test, some other test, tie down class, test. etc.
