I am not worried. I spoke with my doc and he said the notes will not be an issue.

    Ladies and Gentleman,

I decided to give up whatever experience I have in order to come to Swift which is not much. I will be going out with a trainer for 240hrs. I am excited and can not wait to begin my adventure. So it looks like I am scheduled for February 1st. I now have the full support of my sister and her husband. Even my dad was happy. I'd just like to say thanks to Injun and Fewe for answering any questions I may have and talking to me about Swift.

    Awesome KH!!

Stick with it bro! Remember, EverrTrucker started at SWIFT and made a lot of money there before jumping. You can get good experience, travel the country and get in a groove. You are young, so if trucking is what you want for a career, you stand to make out well, especially without all of the debts and responsibilities us "seasoned" citizens have.

    Congrats!

I'm going to Ocala XLS on February 1st.

Nana and Jarhead, thank you very much.

Now the good news is I got my mom her valentines day card and those heart candies. The Books-A-Million, my favorite hangout, staff said they will miss me and will look forward to me coming home. I think I might ask one manager out in a Valentines day card I am going to get her. All in all I am ready to go out and have fun and learn. I miss the hills of TN, the sights of St. Louis, and the lights of Las Vegas NV. Now I do not miss NYC.

Too early to tell KH. Still got 8 weeks of school to go. I haven't sent in any apps. yet. We haven't had any recruiters come thru yet either. I may come out early if a decent opportunity presents itself. We are allowed to, once we obtain the cdl at about the 6 week mark. One of my top choices would be Conway Truckload if they would have me.

I'm glad you get to go to orientation close to home. That is a big concern of mine. I'd hate to travel half way across the country to an orientation and then get sent home. That would not be cool.

That happened at USX near Chattanooga TN and I was upset. Ten hours away from home and my dad had to come to Orlando to get me at 3AM. I felt sorry for him and offered him gas money but he said no worries.
