That's a shame. So much drama surrounding this venture.

    Guys,

I am home. I will try to keep it negative free. Swift's academy in Millington, TN wants you to learn on your own. The instructors will demo whatever is being taught once then it is up to you to learn. Same with everything. Out of my class only one person said good luck to me and helped me with my stuff. Thanks Marty. Your a great guy and my offer stands.

I have copies of the contract and can fax them or e-mail them in a pdf to an e-mail. I do not owe anything yet I am waiting on my DAC report in a couple of weeks.

I asked the range instructors for help and did not get it. I asked repeatedly as my did my partner. We never received it. I had to use my backing skills I learned a year ago to help me with my backing, especially with my Florida jack knife and 45'. The offsets came naturally (thank goodness). As for the pre-trip for Florida, if you get John, remember it verbatim.

Do I regret going up there?? No as I learned a lot and relearned some skills that I thought I knew all about.

Good luck to those who go up there.

    Guys,

Please help me find another company. Jim I really want to team or at least meet up and see if we are compatible. We have a lot in common. You have there when i needed you as well as injun. I regret what I did yesterday but I needed help and found it an another way. I cry as I write this as I am ashamed but regret not leaving sooner. I felt this situation could have been prevented. I went through all this and dumped money I did not have into something. I traveled home in clothes that were days old. I feel embarrassed and wished I had an opportunity to take a shower.

I gave my food to two random strangers who provided me my ride to Memphis International Airport.

Just like the military I am certain they train the way they do for a reason.
To wash out those that don't belong in a truck.
Its a terrible thing to have dreams and hopes dashed but it is time to consider every thing and possibly look towards a career in truck mechanics or sales rather than driving.

If you can't handle school you'll NEVER be able to handle the stresses of driving on a daily basis. Traveling thru traffic and dealing with the other drivers on the road. Plenty of whom should not have a license to drive. The stresses of being gone from home for weeks at a time, and the stresses of dealing with shippers/receivers and the schedules that they demand.
