This bears repeating just because it's sooooo true. I disagree with my friends quite a bit, including Injun, yet they are still my friends. I respect their opinions even if they are not my opinions. And sometimes my opinion changes when I really listen to someone I disagree with. That's one of the joys of interacting with other people- it opens up new avenues of thought.
And life would be so boring if we all were the same...........

KH, I don't know the hold story about what happened and I came to defend you because I thought you were in the right and want the best for you. I came close to being banned because I thought Brickman was giving you a hard time. That right there should tell you that no matter I didn't know who you were, I was willing to go to bat for you and helped you. Everyone is not like that though and you can't hold that against them. This is a tough world and everything isn't fair, isn't right and no should you expected it to be. After you recieved your training and with all the hard work you will put into it, I promise you, that you would do everything possible to keep your license. You will be more grateful and will do what it takes to keep your license. Brickman had a great point, Swift may be doing it for reason to see who will last and who will dropped out and you can't never be the one to dropped out and walk away. Never do that because the door will close behind you and you will catch hell trying to get it to open back up. I can tell you this because I am experience the same thing and as of now I am catching hell trying to get that door back open.
I will type that I have a disability too and mine is a speech impediment and I have a hard time at pronouncing multiple syllables words. I have been laughed at, picked on my whole life and I do have a bad temper at time. That doesn't give me like to blow my top and do something stupid because a second chance isn't promise and you must understand that. But I will adviced you to go to anger managment and get control of your temper at best understand yourself and get control of yourself. I think many on this forum is giving you good advice, and the only thing you need to do is listen and soaked it in and do what they are telling you. They are leading you to water, now it is time to drink the water or died. It is all in your hand now and what you do here on out will determine how long you be a trucker or out of the business.
The advice is there and it is now time to stop making excuses and accepted that people that never met you before actaully care about you and want the best for you. Your story is truly amazing and I know it is hard sometimes, but now you are a grown man and you must acted like a man and be a man on every occasions. It is time to stop feeling sorry for yourself and make a decision that no matter hell or high water you will be successfully at being a truck driver. God speed and just keep this in mind.Last edited: May 20, 2011

THIS !!! ^^^
I had a serious problem with my temper after Marine Corps boot and while I was in college. Always pounding on someone in a bar, always paying fines, almost expelled from Penn State for staring at a professor in a menacing way..... I learned to get over it. Oddly enough, behind the wheel of a big truck I'm much more calm. I still spout (to myself) out nasty profanity at suicidal four-wheelers but I don't act on it. Once anger and rage is controlled, fines and handcuffs disappear, and life tends to cooperate more. Odd, isn't it?

Puhlease..... maybe for you... this world would rock if everyone was like me
I too have had my anger control issues.... eh.. who am I kidding, I still have anger control issues. When I was younger I was waaay out of control. These days I just rage verbally. I can cut a person to pieces with my words. It's something I really need to work on and I try every day. It's not easy though. Raging is the easy part, and I'll be honest, a part of me likes it. I know that makes me a bad person, but it's the truth. So, honestly, I can't offer you advice on getting it together... I'm still working on it myself. All I can offer you is the knowledge you're not alone and others know how hard it is. -
What Tankergirl is saying is TRUE. I met her and GotReefer and she tore me to shreds....reduced me to a mere pile of DNA!
(kidding)
The Challenger and 25(2)+2 Thank this. -

Perhaps, but I know if I woke up next to me ANY morning, I'd be puking for DAYS!

Guys, I appreciate the help. I want this thread locked and removed at my request. I have talked this over with my family, friends and g/f. We feel this is the right decision to help me. As for whether I should be driving a CMV, let me decide that.
