Does that mean you're going back home after orientation to wait for a trainer or are you just going to leave your car at the terminal and hit the road?

Kinghunter...let me see if I'm reading this correctly. Your profile shows you have 0-1 yrs experience. Your posts seem to suggest you're going to your very first orientation yet; you have nearly 4200 posts on this board. Wow. You must have a little extra time on your hands huh?

# King....take it you have read my earlier posts? Unlike so many trying to get in to the industry, I have both experience and ample cash reserves; quite the opposite of my situation in 99 when signed up to 'lose my mind' with a CDL. The absence of 'recent' OTR experience limits the scope of potential employers.
Back when I got in, companies were expanding so fast, the recruiters asked if you could wait to take a dump until you got to orientation. At this point, I can't even get an estimate as to when this is suppose to happen. Am half way between Ocala and ATL. Either one would work for me but I am told Ocala is harder to get in to right now. The Gods seem to like you.
