I had the same problem. But at least I didn't have some ####### who didn't let me back at all

 

Same here. I had one who always wanted to tell me which way to turn the wheel. Finally, I told her to stand back there and only signal if I was about to hit something, since I had to figure out for myself which way to turn the wheel.

And one idea for the mentors out there... get a set of those cheap "FRS" walkie talkes. That way you can talk your student through a difficult back, or yell of they're about to hit something and they are watching the other mirror. Plus, you get to stand where you can really see what's going on, and not limited to where they can see you,

 

What. No one simply uses a cell phone?
Better than walkie-talkies.

 

Walkie talkie's are more fun. LOL
