No I wasn't, I actually was out of town a few weekends ago. I hadn't taken any real vacation time in over 4 years and I was overdo. I went to PA to a petting zoo, an antique store, then the next day we all went to Niagara Falls. Was really nice to just get away and relax for a change.

No worries, I'll be mindful where I park my reefer! I have always lived in the city and I can't sleep unless I have some background noise to sleep too. There are nights I leave my tv on for white noise. That's another reason I want TCD.

I didn't notice until now that the laughing smiley I put in the post didn't show up. This was a joke, don't anyone actually do this. Wait for whatever division you want, because its not guaranteed that they'll keep you if you want to switch.

    storm2004 Thanks this.

That is why I said if I were to switch it would be into flatbad. My recruiter has suggested it and stated that I can stick with it for 6 months to a year then switch to another division. If I have to wait again I just might take her up on that offer. Considering they put it on the table. It just gave me something to think about is all.

I'll make every effort in the world to park near other reefer truck drivers or away from flatbedders, but be aware that if the only open spot is next to you, I'm taking it and will ignore any griping LOL.

That same rule goes for truck stops AND our terminals. If there's an open spot up front, I'm not parking all the way in the back gravel lot. And as a couple other drivers have found out, chasing me down and griping at me is not a good way to get me to move.

    Congratulations!

Just don't get the two different types of "reefer" mixed up, and you'll do fine.
