My TCD experience with Maverick

I took my finals out of orientation and TCD training and I passed! My driver instructor has already contacted me and turns out he will be driving by my house so I was sent home and will meet him nearby. Should be picking me up sometime Saturday. Took me a while to get here and I'm finally going to be in a truck!

 

I will also add, my birthday was on the 10th and the 11th I received the job offer! I couldn't have asked for a better bday present!

Home right now, Sunday night I will be meeting my driving instructor in Eaton, Oh at the TA and then Monday morning I will be off to Indianapolis, IN to drop off a load. My driving instruction finally starts!

 

So far with my driving instructor we dropped off a load in Indianapolis, IN, then went to Chicago to pick up a load. Went to Gary, IN to get some things on the truck fixed. The APU still isn't working right though, it keeps turning off. Not sure what's going on there. We then went to Memphis to drop a load. Soon we will go to pick up a load and deliver it to Chicago, IL. So far I think I'm doing ok, not great, just ok. Although, this is just my second day on the truck and my instructor says I'm improving. He thinks I should be able to eval out by the end of the month. So there is hope for me yet! Lol
