Swift and I have parted ways, and quite frankly I think I'm done with OTR. Getting canned 3000 miles from home is one of those things that are best experienced only ONCE.

@Chinatown I hate to ask this of you, but would you be able to recommend a local/regional company in the Portland, OR area? I'm open to anything at this stage, and am willing to get whatever endorsements are necessary for the job. Thanks in advance

Closest terminal at the time that the decision was made to get rid of me. Got brake checked too many times, and Vic the Russian apparently gave my DL an ultimatum
(Read: my safety score was too high from all the following distance events. Apparently I was supposed to be the one brake checking the poor sap behind me when I got cut off. This is thoroughly my own doing and I take full responsibility for not learning the game fast enough, but do wish that they wouldn't have stranded me *quite* so far away)

Yeah, I know. I wish it weren't so, but I know. I'm just trying to maintain some kind of hope at this stage...
About 9 months, with a couple mistakes

    Bud A., PE_T, Lepton1 and 3 others Thank this.

Sounds to me your driving habits are just fine....dummies cut you off and instead of slamming on your breaks, you casually eased off,but not SWIFT academy enough......

    Good luck

I got accused of brake checking. 10 times a day.

The speedometer didn't work under 37 mph.

They could see me slamming the brakes but couldn't see me doing 0 - 37 faster then anyone could blink.

    SMH

Go home. Find yourself a local job. Stay away from dac companies.
