In the long run you are better off w/o swift...
9 months experience should be enough to get your foot in the door with someone else. Being from NY I have no idea who the players are in your part of the world. If it were me I’d be on Indeed.com and Craigslist to start. Fill out apps, make phone calls, and followed up on all leads.
Be persistent if you find something you want go at it hard !
