If you havn't any recent tank experience, this is not the right time of year to be getting your feet wet in the PNW. The slick icy roads in a couple months, the slick wet roads right now....idiots the past few days...
    Same holds true for doubles/triples.
Try Wilson Logistics....new owners of Market Transport, formerly UTI, and more formerly DSV...

They are still in the process of "rebranding" all the trailers and trucks. Several different options, local, I-5 both Portland to central CA or Portland to socal. Drivers pay will be getting a boost about November or December. Decent benefits, so far miles are there if you want to run....mostly drop/hook on the northern end (Portland, Clackamas, Kent basin)
Send me a PM if you have any other questions.

Why thank you Stayinback. I attribute my success thus far to driving a 33 year old mechanical hood. I enjoy it so much I don't care when I get there. If my truck was Radared, Speed Limited, EGR'd, DPF'd, SCR'd, ELD'd, AMT'd and ABS'd, I think would have gone postal by now. Those trucks are inherently unsafe

Wait a couple of weeks and pull your DriverFacts report to see what Swift is reporting about you. Your situation is probably not going to be as bad as you think since drivers are in demand and Swift isn't that highly regarded. If you don't have any accidents or tickets then the drive camera stuff isn't going to matter and most likely won't even be reported.

Seriously, until you pull that report you don't know what your situation is. It's probably going to be better than you think. When I was there they only reported accidents and failed drug tests.

If you've had any inspections or tickets you should pull your PSP report as well.

Seriously. I will let my 1099 slave driver quarry run me and my outlaw loose leaf truck to the ground before i submit to that BS. If this is professional trucking you can keep it.

The megas really do need self driving trucks. What human could endure all the baloney theyve created? Hell it might even make a robot puke.

You forgot CMS for Collision Mitigation System complete with free brake lockup when a bird flies by, and ACC for Adaptive Cruise Control complete with slowing the truck down by itself when the forward radar detects a slower truck five miles ahead of you.

I think it’s a plot to make driving a truck so unpalatable that drivers will be begging to let a robot do it

How long before autonomous trucks are on here asking chinatown which companies will buy them with a handful of preventable accidents?
