Well it has been a trying week for me. All the breakdowns have definitely weakened my moral. Really hope next week is better.

@Scole1987 have you checked your own terminal to see if you guys got any spare trucks. If you guys do call your fleet manager and tell him that you require one. If he tries to give you the story about those trucks are already assigned then speak to david broyles. If nothing is being done call the 1800 number in the pamplet they gave you when you first started, speak to someone at corporate and hopefully you will get a decent truck. Averitt does not want to lose drivers especially if you in truckload, as it is they having a hard time retaining drivers in all divisions and if they lose you it cost them money to bring someone new. Remeber one thing if averitt does not provide you with the tools to succeed everyone else is hiring.
Good luck -

Been a good week so far. Got a newer truck coming and been getting some good miles in. I will say one thing. This service center in Louisville Ky sucks. It's like a can of sardines. I swear you can hear each others farts its packed so tight.
Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
You should go to the one in mobile alabama then you see the definition of tight.

They gave you a truck with a bad air leak? and you took it off the lot?
I would have done a brake test first thing and if it lost more than 4psi in a minute during the test that truck would have stayed put.
Also I would demand your 13 week average pay for the breakdown week as you have bills to pay. Threaten them if they dont give it you are going to another company.
