    great updates chowick! and good for you for shutting down (couple days ago. sorry for late post) no need to put your or no one elses life in risk for one truck load of freight.....and why are you running without even finishing orientation?

    The way Crete do it is they have you do what they call pre-qualification, drug screens, physicals and the basic paperwork and stuff,once you get your drug screen through they get you in a truck and run you for a week or so and get you to one of their main terminals to finish up your orientation....

    Dropped my load in New Kingstown, and headed for the Carlisle Hotel, not a half bad hotel actually.....stayed in far worse...and a single room!!! Also the hotel is not the easiest to find...i rolled on straight past it!!!!

    Well....another day down and done.....long day as they usually are in orientation......keeping the paper industry happy with looottttsss of paperwork. a very good lunch, had a salad......and a $10 voucher for a meal at the diner across the street.....a very good value....

    What is the main thing I learnt today???? LOGS LOGS LOGS.....LOG IT AS YOU RUN IT!!!!! Seems they will be pretty hard if you start to fudge!!!

    well,got out of orientation in one piece.......got back in the truck and a load into florida!!! not bad 1000 miles under the belt on sunday!

    Well....back at home after my first full week!!! After drop in FL, next to Mobile and then to Romeoville,IL and home....in my first full week 2,500 miles....more than my whole time in McLeod!!!
