My time at saia so far

As of today, finally broke 80.

 

I’ll join the party I guess. I’m thinking 94k will be the w2. Not bad for 1yr 2 months here. Money is definitely here for linehaul guys. Also I’m not working 6 days either. I’ve been cancelled here and there due to weather also over the year. I can work 6 days if I choose also. This is a 5 day work week average for the year.

 

As of this weeks check I’ve been here six months. I’m happy with my job here.

Anybody work out of the Jackson Ms terminal linehaul.

 

Anyone run out of Vegas? A buddy of mine that runs out of Denver has been pushing me to apply. I make about $85k at my current otr gig,

 

Dude you're good where you're at if you're already past 75. I can tell you tho, LTL, you'll make over 75 with more home time! You'll have to get used to politics tho

 

I don't run out of Vegas but I have a general idea of their runs out of there, according to their website though, Saia is only currently looking for a P&D driver for Vegas, and a linehaul driver and p&d driver for the Reno terminal, if you were to get on at the Vegas terminal on linehaul most likely you will start out as a systems driver, they mostly run to Utah, Colorado, Arizona , California and northern Nevada out of that terminal.

 

Once you top out you will make more then they with better home time. Saia has great benefits too. Insurance for family is super cheap.
