A lot of users on the board work in the office at these companies and try to combat any negative posts about the company. It is common in business.

And you base this statement on what facts???
Do you have some crystal ball which can determine from each post where a person posts from???
    Pure supposition on your part.

If you knew anything about business you know that monitoring social media is common. You would be dumb not to refute bad comments about your company.
You will see in a lot of articles at the end they disclose affiliation of any companies mentioned in the article or if they have received compensation of any kind which is the honest way to do it. Pretending to be a driver is not the honest way to do it.

As for my blog comment about just doing it you have to take it in context. I don't spend as much time on the boards as I would like but if I ever make a mistake with a quick post I would be glad to correct it. The main reason I get on the boards is to try to keep some people from making a mistake they will regret.
The deck is stacked against the driver from the beginning. Since deregulation it has become a job for the desperate including yours truly. I have a decent job and can go about anywhere to drive but its not something I recommend to anyone because the price to get there is very steep.

Why sure they do. Especially at Ratville and others like them. Guys wonder why dispatch seems so disconnected from drivers world. Hell they could care less as long as there is steady stream of bright eyed students rolling through every week. Keep refuting the bad experiences of many and get that money. Now many who show up have got the whole industry pegged wrong to start with. Think you just show up, drive, gab on CB and cash big paychecks. Get a fat gut and walk around with chain on your wallet. Don't know about traffic in DLS, HOU, Atlanta, I-95, etc etc. Crappy maintainence done by most training{and many good} companies. Fouled up paperwork. Jerks at receiving offices, and on and on. Still got to be ready to take the BS no matter who you work for. Comes with the turf. But there are rats on here for sure. When Wise One ran board he would call them out. They could post as long as they made it clear that they did work for Hunt, Stevens, England or whoever.

yeah i used to work at stevens unfortunately....its a good company for beginning drivers that need to be babysat and treated like children...i guess you gotta get your experience from somewhere....but for anyone that wants to make money....its not a good idea to stick with this company. plus company's that make you log when your on the yard and not driving but rather getting "clearing" papers signed is pretty ######...good idea...burn hours without working or making money...smart idea, real bright.......and also the drivers with a hard on for stevens (if in fact your all really drivers and not office personel....kip) i wouldn't speak so high and mighty on behalf of a company that will phukk you every chance they get without even knowing how the trucking game really is. training company's = crap company's....good for a year or two of experience then thats it, move on.....unless you enjoy the reaming you constantly get...then by all means, stay there and keep taking it deeper ;)

YOU are hiring. Go get your own truck and do it yourself. I think one of the most amazing things in life is the fear factor. There are folks who are so afraid of being told "no", they won't even try anything new. All those used truck companies you see everywhere really do NEED to sell those trucks.

Logging time in training classes, and talking with safety is a DOT requirement, just as giving a piss test is a DOT requirement. If it is related to trucking it MUST be logged.
That is why EOBR are being forced on us, as so many want to cheat the rules for the god they worship, the dollar.
