How do you make any money when the website for JCT pays .90 per mile, you have fuel and the truck payment?

It's all about managing you time effectively. JCT offers plenty of miles, as long as you're willing to run. Also, JCT pays both loaded and empty miles...including the full fuel surcharge on both loaded and empty miles. I have kept up an average of almost 3000 miles per week over the past 2 years. JCT may not be a perfect fit for everyone, but it's a good fit for me.

I averaged (I'll have to go dig it up to be sure) in 2011 about 423 miles a day. even the days I was on home time. taking out the days off I averaged about 469? or something like that. I paid off $40,000 in debt in about 2 years. nose to the grindstone driver!

That'd really depend on your individual circumstances, but JCT won't tell you "you can't go home".

As long as your truck payments are being made & loads are on time, they don't care how often you go home or for how long.

Handle yo bidness & play when you want.

Cant say we dont go into va but its not our major area of operation. Wanna get an idea where we do most of our running... get a us map and make a triangle with los angeles, seattle, and orlando as the points. That said I have delivered to maine and picked up in eastern pa.
