Glad to see you back. My first week with TA has been a dream compared to what you described in this thread.
Go eat at Showmar's in Charlotte if you have a chance, you can thank me later.

The most memorable moment of our time together, was the following morning,of driving most of the night. We rolled out of the truck stop just before lunch.I don't remember taking a full 10,but the qualcom wasnt being used by me,just my trainer.
I pre tripped the truck, and we hit the road.Traffic was kinda thick leaving, and I finally made it to the exit of the truck stop.A guy had stopped,
and i thought he was stopping to let me out. When I pulled out,he also started moving, and I guess I read the whole situation wrong.
This pissed my trainer off first thing.I apologized, and really thought the guy was trying to let me out.We hadn't gone 1 mile, and I was making a left on a green light.I had plenty of time to proceed onto the on ramp, before oncoming traffic approached the intersection.
Trainer goes cookoo-bannanas on me and starts yelling that Im driving like a maniac.Granted we've both had little sleep, and I totally misread a stopped truck for letting me out of the truck stop.I,however,in no way was driving like a maniac turning left on green with plenty of space to do so,before oncoming traffic was even close to the intersection.
He then goes on to tell me that if im gonna drive like that, then I can just pull over.I kindly obliged his suggestion, and set the brakes.I informed him that I had done nothing in our time together, but bust my nuts to make sure i did everything by the book.
I never once commented on how he budged me out of the seat at Purina during a pickup. It was supposedly too difficult for me to back into, but he proceeds to back all over the trailer im my mirror?I never said a word.
I never said a word when he was cruising downtown buffalo. The light was red.Im asking myself, If this guy even notices were approaching a red light at a pretty good clip?He "eventaully" does and stabs all the brakes he can,and sets off our critical events signal on the trusty ol qualcom.
It wasn't for me to say anything,Im just a dumb ol rookie.
I was there to learn, and if this guy thinks Im driving like a maniac, then I gotta lot to learn.
I pretty much clammed up after that.No more #### chat outta me.I coulda gave a rats--less what he thought from there on out.
We were eventually routed back south. He had home time coming up,but was getting there from Alabama, not Charlotte where my car was.
I was offered the chance to get out at a Pilot, and get a rental car back to Charlotte.
I was a hellyeah to that one.Didnt have to ask me twice.
A tornado had just came through that particular little town, and I had to wait a while to get a taxi to the airport. The guy did finally show up,and delivered me to a rental car at the airport.I shelled out money for taxi ride, and a rental car.I made it back to Ga. and spent the night at my house.
The following morning I had my wife follow me in her car back to Charlotte airport to drop the car off,and pickup my car.Gas for 2 cars,as well as gas for 2 cars back home. How difficult would you guess it was to get reimbursed
for all this higher learning?VARITHMS, grusco, AfterShock and 3 others Thank this. -

Opus, this is great stuff. I'm just a student but I'm guessing your experience has less to do with the company and more to do with the arse holes inside it. It reads to me that you are handling everything very well. I look forward to your return to the forum and your new direction.
OPUS 7 Thanks this. -
