Just be sure you are ready. Follow the Dr's recommendations. Common sense stuff like that. Even when you get back on the truck, don't forget that your body is still adjusting from the insult of surgery and the downtime of recovery. Good luck, good miles, and good health! Oldnew....

Good news! Good news! Went to my follow-up appointment this morning and the dr said everything is looking good and gave me full permission to go back to work with no restrictions. Of course he did recommend that I take it kind of easy as far as lifting anything for a couple more weeks, but for the sake of going back to work, I'm good to go! WooHoo!!! I've been in contact with my DM and he has a bus ticket ready for me to head back tomorrow. I'll be back in Columbus early tomorrow afternoon and hopefully it won't be too much later til I'm in a truck. I'm so excited! It's not that I don't enjoy being home with my family and all. It's just that I'm a working man and I take the responsiblity of supporting my family seriously. And since we are a single income family, this past month has been kinda hard on us. I just can't afford to be off for another 2 weeks.

So after tomorrow, my postings are going to be sparse, mostly when I'm home. I can get access when I'm at a terminal, but I'm not really at a terminal that often. But I promise to keep everyone posted. Thanks again for the support and I hope to see everyone out there!

Good deal dodgeram!!! Glad to see you got the ok to go back to work. Just take it easy, take care of yourself, and be safe! Hopefully I may get the chance to meet you someday as I'm suppose to be going through orientation May 3rd in Edwardsville KS.
