so how does one get around the newer trucks and their limited idling? do they by-pass that somehow in the ECM program? Or is it just "too bad to be you" for the TMC driver in hot or cold weather?
-
News to me too.... As long as I know my truck never had one
-
My 2016 586 could idle all day..... #shrugs#notread Thanks this.

That's right! I can't sleep when I'm too hot or cold. And if I have to spend a 34 in the truck I'm not going to suffer.notread Thanks this.

notread and Highway Sailor Thank this. -
TMC never had them as far as I know. The issue is the weight not the operation I was told.
All their trucks are clean idle certified and they allow idling whenever the driver would like. The caveat to that being that it goes against your mpg snapshot so the more you idle the worse your mileage. -
George told us they tired them, had issues with them then got rid of them, but the weight issue would seem more logicalNatethetrucker04 Thanks this.
