My day is done, I finished the day with 624 miles of this repower trip, we started with 980 miles. We stopped at the Beckley service plaza on i64 to switch drivers. Today was a good day.

How's your backing and shifting going? I'm going to guess securement is good?

My double clutching is good, he wants me to work of floating, securement is solid, backing is good, could be better

My trainer had me double clutch all five weeks. That lasted maybe a week into having my own truck. Luckily my dad taught me how to float. Securement is nice cause there's always someone willing to help, or answer questions, and backing is just about the same.

Mine its telling me if I go back down to test out, that as long as I'm working the clutch free play, that they will look at it as my clutch Dirk is good, specially when I won't be surging the truck as much and it stays smooth. I'm still debating whether I'll do that or just double clutch. He has done more of the backing maneuvers but he has me back into all the docks and rest stops. Truck stops he wants to do those.mostly cause it's always dark, but I got one in yesterday when he was sleeping. He woke up and was like "WTF! where are we? And how the #### did you get in here?" Was funny #### cause I just sat there and said "I got this man!"

Ok well we just finished dropping off our load of telephone pole anchors from st Louis (load swap)in Chesapeake va. We sat for maybe 5 minutes they got us a load of Griffin pipe heading to New Hampshire. He's saying that our next load will most likely be a Lowe's load going to Buffalo New York.

If you want to call it that. I've hauled many of them for McElroy out of Hagerstown, MD and Vonore, TN. Let's just say their "tarping" and "securement" jobs are not quite up to par.

I'd rather have that, than have to sit and be live loaded by them haha.

With my trainer, a preload is nothing more than a hassle. He doesn't like the way they get tarped so he goes and tarps it himself. He is very meticulous on the way he tarps.
