Does TMC have a rider policy?
-
yes, must be in your own truck for 90 days, then you fill out the forms, it costs like $1 a day to do it, and its immediate family over age 10 only.

Gunner thanks for all the info. Ive been driving 20 years all flatbed I have heard so much about how TMC is a starter company what are your thoughts? Ive been with same company for three years No insurance that's why I am starting to look around. I live in Dallas Tx. Any thoughts?

Bring new to driving, my view is one sided, however, I enjoy it, and tmc. They let me do my thing as long as it's done safely. I've got my sat radio sub, my laptop, microwave, fridge, and I'm good. Personally I can't see going any place else for the time being. I've talked to other company drivers from Mercer to prime, I like where I'm at for the time being. I'm doing research on buying my own truck, but that is something that is a long time away. In the mean time, I'll stay right where I am. I like it here. The insurance is great, the pay is in line where recruiters said if would be. I honestly can't wait to get back to des Moines for my tqm class to get feed back on how I've done so far.
Fratsit Thanks this. -

What kind of places do you guys mostly pick up or deliver to? Construction sites and scrap metal yards?
-
Steel plants, distribution centers, dry wall manufacturers, rail yards, shipping yards, construction sites, down town major city's, out in the middle of no where in a hay field. You name it, I've either been there to pick up, or drop off.
I'm sure there are other places I've not been to.draker Thanks this. -
