That doesn't seem appropriate for all the waiting. $50/day isn't anything anyone can live on

You have the 388 right? How many miles are on it? Seems a little premature for these issues.

Yes I have a 388, it has 245k on it. The shop says it's odd that I didn't feel a loss of power, however, if the hole has been there since I got the truck, then that power loss would seem normal to me.

Ok so im back at it, my first pick up after my nightmare was a load of plywood going from the docks in baltimore up to home depot dc in new jersey. Easy load to haul, paid almost 700 to the truck but it was a late load. My temp fleet manager got me some extra breakdown pay, 100 a day vs 50, that helps me some. Gets my wife off my ###. I really appreciated him working something out for me. My next pick up was a load of insulation from Dow Chemical in Pennsauken NJ heading to Lansing Michigan. Pays little over 850 to the truck, not great, but its an easy load, and gets me to the house for the weekend. I figure my load pick up in the am will be steel plate out of jackson mi or coils out of delta ohio.

Despite what was posted in my breakdown thread or in this thread about my breakdown, that is in no way a reflection of how TMC runs. Ive heard more apologies than i can count. I believe it just happened to be one of those times where nothing goes righr.

Did TMC pick up the cost of the hotel as well?

TMC gives you tch checks or whatever for when these things happen. You just need to find a nearby hotel who is driver friendly like that. A lot of hotels offer CDL discounts too.

Most hotels that are close to truck stops, or truck repair facilities almost always accept tch/efs checks.

By the way battle, tch was bought out by efs.
