well my truck broke down again. This time it was the exhaust manifold gasket. Simple fix, but i lost a load because of it. Road Repair had me take my truck to the Pete shop in Bolingbrook Illinois. They should be finishing up here soon, and I will be staying overnight. Not sure what my morning load will be. I am hoping this breakdown will be last for some time.
My TMC experience.

Well your not far from where I live. I buy all my parts for my truck just down the street from the pete dealer.
-
This is getting annoying now. Only 3 loads delivered this week, granted one was a 2 day 2 stop run, but loosing a load for a breakdown cuts into my income. Im gonna be lucky to take home 500 next week.
-
Ouch. I guess you picked the wrong truck when you stated huh?
-
I dunno, but it's disheartening

Ask them for a shingle load out of owens corning. Those always seemed to pay well.

Gunner, they put me in a 579!and she's been a dream. Seems you got one of our junk 388. I don't like those trucks anyway. 62 is just too #### slow for these new engines.
-
Ive heard a lot of the 579s are junk as well. Lots of blown front axle seals. Issues with Turbo's going out #### like that. Im gonna stick with my truck. Ive heard that the previous driver was hard on equipment which is why there was a camera in it when I got it. Im gonna stick with it, there are some things that are gonna take place at home here soon, will definitely have an impact on how my income level is going to proceed. I might have to stay out longer, or look at other avenues of revenue generation.
