Here's a quick update.
I fired my fleet manager today. Long story short, I asked him when I started to never lie me. Today I caught him in a lie for the second time regarding issues with making me money. So I called the vp of line haul, ran my issues past him, he stated that im not the only one who's recently come to him about my fleet manager, and did not give me one issue. He suggested I go with a long time fm that's known for his team being in the top 10.
Give this a go and see where it takes meGr8camo, PouringBeard, WingNut72 and 2 others Thank this. -
That's awesome, and really cool that your concerns were listened to and then validated by someone else. That's one of my fears is getting stuck with a lousy fm. Your money is practically in their hands. Good luck and keep posting

Gunner not trying to hijack your thread but I have a question regarding TMC and freight going in and out of the Northeast. I live in RI and see that TMC has a terminal in Massachusetts. Does that mean there is a good amount of freight being moved around the area? I ask as Im looking to get into Flatbed and like what I read about TMC. Also the hometime every couple of weeks and getting loads back to the North east. Thanks!

I'm unaware of an actual terminal in Massachusetts, I was under the impression that it was a drop yard for dedicated fright going in and it off the 5 boroughs and that area. I do know there is lots of fright all over the north east, and that they are always looking for drivers in the area. I'd suggest giving recruiting a call on Monday

Ok, so its been awhile since my last update.
Last week was my first full week with my new fleet manager, and I have to say that i have apsolutely no complaints at all. He did exactly as I was looking for, showed me what I was wanting from a fm. I ended the week with over 4000 to the truck, and am stayed out. As a reward he got me a long day haul from Missouri to California that pays well over anything ive grossed to date. Only draw back to taking this load, was i had to stay out for a third week since ill be on the wes coast on Wednesday. Kinda hard to get back to Ohio by friday. Im currently at 28% and am extremely happy with how my new fm is performing. He keeps this up, and i can see making a lot of cash with this guy.PouringBeard, WingNut72, BallC74 and 3 others Thank this.
