They run all over on the east coast, so you'd be fine. Hope you enjoy that crazy traffic up there though.

@Gunner75 this was an informative thread! I read it all! I'm still in school and TMC is top on my list of companies. I'm out of MD any good info you could give me?

MD is all right , If you get a TWIC card that would be less hassle. Around Baltimore you have salt, steel, lumber, and shingles.

    Da Beast Thanks this.

Should I look into getting aTWIC card on my own or will the company assist with that?

They will assist you in getting it. What I mean by hassle is TMC will send you to a port that requires the TWIC card. If you don't have one then you must pay for a TWIC escort which can start at $80.00 and up. Some times they even charge by the hour. You must pay and then TMC will reimburse you. With a TWIC card you are in/out with no issues or extra waiting. To help make more money with TMC if you have your TWIC, passport, and hazmat you will get 5 points towards your percentage pay. Which helps out.

They will assist you by directing you to the webpage, the rest is on you. I found or easier just getting it on your own. Like Sailor said though, definitely start working on it and your passport, hazmat too.

Prior to me starting I had my TWIC card and passport. I need my hazmat for those extra points. But it has not hurt me up to this point.

Have you hauled hazmat loads? If so was the pay increased?
