My US Xpress Experience!

No, I'm not mad because I didn't get hired by USX. I'm past all that. I've got a pretty good gig going with TMC. I'm going to lie.... Yeah, I was mad about it for a while, but life goes on and I got past it.

 

I have heard TMC is a very good company. Best of luck there.

 

Well is it a possibility that they threw your resume in garbage because they couldn't legally hire you since according to your profile you are from Mexico? Just saying.

That is just an "outlaw" avatar like having a picture of Jesse James. US Xpress actually has a dedicated subdivision to handle Mexican freight which I hope to transfer to eventually after mastering my spanish and getting my dual citizenship.
Mexico offers lots of adventure for truckers since it is exotic and the rail lines at present don't eat into cross-country trucking runs as it does here. Another thing is I never want to chain up again (been there; done that). By the way you have a very desirable lady by your side (mine is from southern mexico and I still haven't figured out how I said the right thing at the right time to manage that). Germangirl: Who could resist looking at your profile : ) Yes Laredo is my dream. I have fond memories of Laredo when I drove 15 years ago because it was nice and warm and full of mexi-bonis (mexicanas bonita). It was a recent revelation in my life that next door is a truly beautiful and exotic country. Imagine now being paid to enjoy such a place by driving a truck!
