I just can't believe after all that training where you had loads everyday, they would stiff you on $$ and you end up making less than trainee pay.
Exactly. Got my final paycheck today. 3 loads and a whopping $230....the hell with Werner and their bs
I hate this happen to you, cause my son drove for Werner and he never had an issue with his pay being wrong, at lest not as much as yours was.But if my pay was off a dollar I would want that dollar now.
I just received a pre approval on my application with Werner. So far, I have six others. Still looking at each and thinking. I appreciate this thread. One... I used to dump trash at DG. I know those people are so low level. They make up stories about everybody they deal with. Call it Munchausen Syndrome. I'm still considering a DG account with Schneider. That's not the only consideration with Schneider. Still considering for exercise and a local run. Finding out more from recruiter. Two... These kind of dealings in this thread. I have had my fill of that kind of treatment around here. Jobs, everything. It's ludicrous. That's partly why I went to truck driving in the first place. To get a decent job, away from all the grubby little demons. They can only destroy. I have no wish to enter the same thing with a trucking company. Three... One good starter company suggests that drivers get their own drive camera. Has been used to cover for them. I think it's a good idea. Even a second portable, wireless camera for the back. I think that's a good idea. Four.... Heard of a guy who is with what everyone says is the worst company. Nothing but bad out there about them. This driver is very happy and doing great. So always take anything with a grain of salt. But still.... Five... So of course... like a good chess player... I'm looking at all the moves, in detail. Would appreciate any new input to this thread.... I know it's dated.
