lol sorry, I am a bit cranky anyway.... moved from phoenix 1 month ago under the great suggestion to move in with my sister until I got back on my feet.
well anytime family say's move in with us..... its like drugs just say no!!!!.
they want to push their religion on you, have no idea why you would want a life on the road..... how about this.... so I have you out of my ##### business...
anyway sorry for coming across harsh..... but why be judgmental of someone's grammar or sentence structure.... aren't we all out on the road because of certain situations?
Mine..... I am a walking HR issue and I just like the fact that if I pick up a load at point A...... be courteous and get my load to point B... on time and safe.... then people stay off my dang back....
anyway trucking is like a brotherhood, maybe were not all from the same gene pool but there is nothing like having a stupid friend.... makes us look better..... and no I don't think anyone here is stupid..... my attempt at humor.

 

I hear you cranky. I want to get on the road for the same reasons. Freedom and solitude sounds great right about now. Good luck getting back out there.

 

yeah I start with James H Clark trucking on monday orientation...... start out at .29 a mile.... well who knows I could be getting screwed a bit, but honestly at this point I don't care.. I will make .23 a mile.. then .06 per diem.... anyway...... I'll be driving a 2007 kenworth T800 465 horse power 10 speed... great looking equipment....... but hey I have a job.. no house, no bills (that I pay) and yes you can all hammer me for that... but atleast I will be on the road and not here in utah hearing about how I should come back to the mormon faith...... thanks again zebcohobo

 

Yeah cranky get out there and enjoy yourself. All the coffee and tea you want to drink. Man I don't see how they do it. Got to have my sweet tea.

 

Yes they can. Call them or go to their website. The yearly dues are unless they increased them $45. a year. You get all the same help O/Os get but tuned towards the company driver.

 

Those Werner bozos have rang my phone off the hook the past month or so dying to get me to work for them. I've been exploring other options for the time being. I just got my license Monday and graduated yesterday. I don't think, after what I read, that I should subject myself to that sort of horror.

 

I can't speak personally about Werner, but from all the threads I've read, "horror" is not the right word. "CDL Slaughterhouse" might be more like it.

 

If you did not read about the werner trainer crapping himself , you failed to train before u went.
