Yeah , we know all about CRE trainers . They spend all their time "training " in the sleeper . The "trainee " is fool running as a codriver for a cheap trainee rate . You can't say you run 6,000 miles and get home every week and dispute that .

My wife and I were ready to got to cre, but didn't hear from the recruiter that roped us in. So we contacted another cre recruiter and they enlightened us to the fact that during phase one (30 days) we would be together, but in phase two we would be with seperate trainers for 60 days because phase two trainers don't like three people in their truck. Couple that with the horror stories of the women on here that said they were sexually harrased verbally and physically, we reconsidered this company. Find out about the phase 2 thing immediately.

The recruiter I have been speaking with said they do still have company driver positions for hubby/wife teams but I don't necessarily believe recruiters.

Question, were you and your wife able to train together for everything?
Did you go to "Q" fleet after the training, elaborate if you can?
Are you on the demo lease right now and are you making any money at all?
Hell, I would have already done that but because of my felony CRE is the only company that has offered to train & employ us. Too bad for my wife since I'm kinda the bad egg in our relationship - lol

Karasu, I would like to speak to you over the phone but I don't have enough posts to PM you. Anyone have any ideas on that?

I am a female driver for CRE and I know several hubby/wife teams that were hired in together. They went thru the phase 1 training with the same trainer and then after their upgrade process they go to what is known as Q-fleet where they put you on a truck together and basically you just drive as a team together for 30 days and come back to complete the training process and lease your truck. I did not have any trouble with either of my trainers and they were both men, I just basically let them know in advance I was married and that was the end of that line. I have only been with the company since Oct. but I have not had a bad expierence at all in that time. I have made it home to get things I need on my truck to make it feel more like home. Being an IC driver I can route myself home when I want to as long as my delivery is still on-time for deliveries. I have as I said not had any bad experiences with this company and do not regret coming to work for this company. I would recommend them to someone starting out and as it as been said on here, ANY COMPANY IS WHAT "YOU" MAKE IT TO BE.

Nice try . First post and you praise CRE . We're not buying it . We've heard enough about their "trainers " . The needle on the BS meter pegged out on this one . :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:
