Nothing reliable, it's one of those "try it and see" things. I've seen a ton of yellow lenses popping up in truck stops. No clue, as I don't drive nights. My co-driver does.
Hey guys, what is a good power inverter to use that can be plugged into a cigarette lighter? I'm needing one to power a Mac Book Pro and maybe a TV
A TV uses too much juice for an inverter that works on cig lighter plug. A 2-300 watt will power your macbook, I'd just watch movies on it.
Pretty good! Just finished our training with our mentors. We upgraded and got a 2016 freightliner today and took it home. We are on home time until Saturday. Then officially teaming together for the first time! Nervous but excited!
Sounds good. They took all the mentors off 747 so you should see dang decent freight. Get to know the team planners. Most are good people. Holler at me if you need to know who the team planner is where you're at. I know most of them

Hey! Sorry we haven't been updating on here. I have no way to charge my laptop on the road so it's really difficult to type on my phone. But, everything has been going very well! We love it! We have had a really good experience. There's been some situation by situation annoyances here and there but nothing you won't deal with at any mega company. We have been easily averaging 5,000 miles a week consistently. Varies from around 4,500 to 7,500 miles depending on how well freight is. We made platinum within a couple months so that was a nice pay bonus. So we couldn't be happier with swift. We have an outward facing camera but not inward so I guess it's only certain trucks? But either way it doesn't bother me. But, other than occasional small situations, there's not much for us to complain about. I believe some drivers have better experiences than others so it's hard to say that we are the norm but I have no way of knowing other than what others tell me. I hope that clears some things up. Shoot some questions if I left something out or want more detail. P.S. Sorry guys for disappearing so long! It's just been so busy for us and it's hard to type much on my small phone.
