Unless the Cam and boxes have been replaced, you can get the standard gasket from the CPL. That does not mean that is the one you have, just what was the most popular at assembly.
95% of the time it is the one you have. To do the job you need to remove the battery cables, I do not remove the starter. Remove the Valve cover, jack head rocker arms, push tubs, then the cam box.
It sits on two dowels, remove then if they are in the box and put them in the block after cleaning the pieces. Take a flat file and be sure there are no dings in the cover, if the Rollers show copper in the cam follower rollers out the sides the pins could be broken. Inspect the rollers for any damage, inspect the cam for any damage.
If all is good you put the gasket on the dowels with as thin a coating of silicone on the gasket you can make none around the oil hole. Both sides, now comes the hard part you have to hold the cam followers out while you maneuver the cover below the opening to get the followers to go in the hole without damaging the gasket in any way.
Buy an extra gasket. Then reinstall the push tubes, roll them on a narrow drawer on you tool box if they wobble they are bent replace them, put a little luberplate on the ball of the push tube when you put them in, when they are in the cam follower socket you will be able to lift the roller. That tells you they are in the right place, start with the back one. Many units you can not see things to assemble them. Some you can not get the push tubes out and you have to tie them up, and put luberplate on them before you put on the cover. The rest of the assembly is standard. Check the valve cover gasket, if silicone strip, is spit were it goes on the "S" pattern on the ends it may leak replace them.
Just a thought!
Getting the cam box in while holding everything in position without getting anything dirty or damaging the gasket. All the time in contortions around the corner of the cab. That is the fun part.
