started suddenly after hitting rough road..#3 injector failed cutout test,dealer replaced..no change..still rough shake at idle,lots of black smoke under load,strong fuel smell,ticking noise...
Check basics, check your electrical connections, but it also sounds like the fuel is aerated. Fuel line on the suction side might have cracked enough during the bouncing to allow it to be sucking air now.
Swap #4 to #3 see if the problem remains. Replace the pass thru connector. Last time overhead was run?
Found broken exhaust valve...hope piston is ok...the dealer I am stuck at is unbelievably slow...more later...
