    I really don't know.

I just remember years ago I looked at a truck that had an L10 engine and I looked into swapping a big cam into it and I remember people saying that they will fit into the motor mounts.

I could not tell you if that is actually true, but sometimes the mounts are made in such a way that even if the engine is shorter they still fit in the same location.

Is the block the same on a big cam and it just looks different because it has a onepiece head instead of 3 piece.

I don't know about that, LOL.

The N 14 and the big cam are very similar, but...

The electronic part of the n14 I have limited knowledge of.

I put the big cam in so that I would have a simple mechanical engine that I can work on without all the electronic stuff.

What kind of a problem are you having?

I checked truckpaper.com. They had a few listings for FLD112. Ignoring the mistakes, FLD120s, all of the 112's had M11 or C12. No big blocks. I think they are shorter.

I looked it up, and it took me 4 searches before I found it. N14 is 59" long, M11 is 50" long. The motor mounts will need to be changed, a different shift lever and longer drive shaft.

Changing from N14 to M11 does not sound worth it.

The N14 needs an overhaul and I have an M11 that does not

Like I said before, the M11 is 9" shorter. That will move your transmission forward, require you to lengthen your driveshaft, change your shift lever and motor mounts.
