Smells like Missouri for some reason.. But those stupid reserved parking signs should be a giveaway.

    Not sure...

Another hint. I'm next to an interstate running north to south.

I figured that last hint would do it. Congratulations. Dave owes you a dinner.

My best client asked me to help him out on a load to MN, offered me a ridiculous amount of money so I took it. Found a backload for $3 per mile so it will be a great month for me. Yeah, I hate coming back here but I need to make some money for the war chest while the getting is good. Hopefully I'll be back on the I-5 the first week of June, although I'm not seeing much in the way of good paying loads as of right now. Hopefully that will change as it get closer.

    Cowboyrich Thanks this.

I-5 lane lane for van postings is REALLY bad right now. As bad as I've seen since I went on my own a few years ago.

Which is why I have been heading back east. I need to start getting nasty and undercut some of my competition and brokers to secure more contract business. It's getting ridiculous looking for backhauls to California from the PNW that are only offering $1 per mile. It use to be only lumber loads did that and now everybody is.
