    ROFL Y'all just tickle me pink! Thank you all for the encouragement, information (Injun I've got the vice grips out already!) and the phone numbers to call y'all for help.

    You people are the best.


    With those nice things said, I've tried to think of a delicate way to respond to dick, here's the best I can do:

    dick...... I don't wish to be a mentor so I'll be unable to let you in my truck.

    Best wishes for Hubby's speedy recovery. I remember not that long ago this TX gal was nervous about learning to drive a big truck She did what they told her and knocked it out of the park. We all know that you will be fine cause you and hubby are winners! Just a short detour.

    BW I have my first solo run this afternoon. I'm not sure who's more nervous....me or Grandad. No wait...I do know.......it's Grandad. He's so worried he suggested following me in the pickup. How could a woman not love a man who forgets about his heart problem in the midst of his worry about her having to pull tandems.

    I'll be calling you, Injun and some others I'm sure. And guess what I got for Christmas? A blue tooth head set! So now I can talk on the phone while driving AND walk around truck stops looking super important, studly and garth brooklike.

    Just a reminder here Granny...I have yet to finish a phone call with you in the traditional way, Y'know, Sayin' bye and all.
    Our phone calls always end with your battery runnin' down or you run out of the service area and all of the sudden I'm going...Hello? Are you there?
