JMHO...They would not qualify for a DOT Medical Card, therefore; they could not obtain a CDL.

Narcolepsy is a disqualifying condition. If you have been diagnosed with it you are done! But it does not make you eligible for disability.

Maybe you can tell me how this coworker of mine who has narcolepsy is driving a tractor trailer locally and when he pulls over and is waiting sometimes he conks out in the seat and people have to yell and bang on the door to get him to wake up. what happens when he conks out while driving down the road? I guess the crooked doctor who passed him will have his ### in a big crack.

my granny had narcolepsy and drove every day of her life. interestingly enough she died in a car crash. RIP
