Roger make sure to ask the dentist these questions next week.hope you're reading the directions on the medicine you're taking.you can't just take it when u feel pain otherwise you could become immune to it and they won't work.I've taken liquid tylonol stopped the pain instantly but also made me very tired.dentist will probably give u some horsepills that you'll need to take before bedtime and a couple pain killers u can take while driving.make sure to show your company the medicine along with a doctors slip saying you can drive.

 

Some people handle pain better then others. It don't make you a wuss just because you feel the need to take a narcotic for a few days. Just don't drive.
