A bad ground can make your lights do things you would never believe.

You may have to separately ground your lights to your trailer frame and see if that improves things.

When I pulled poder trains I would do exactly that when chasing down lighting issues, install a ground lug near the lights and run the light grounds to it. Worked well for the most part.

Found it today. Inside of the junction box on the front of the trailer where the pigtail plugs in I found a back crimp connector that a ground wire had pulled out of. Popped a new one on and it worked good as new.

Thanks for all of the suggestions.
