I'm not a nascar fan, but I did get to watch a few of the teams race each other on I-84 West in their car haulers today. I guess they're on their way to Watkins Glen?

 

Nah. The fans go to the race to party. They never cared about the race. The party will never end.

 

That's why they call it NAPCAR. They sleep it off during the race.

 

I didn't think anyone still payed attention to NASCAR.
They've made so many changes its not even racing anymore.
Especially this stage thing , its!! retarded.
I actually can't even remember the last time i watched a race.

 

The cameras are having a hard time not showing the empty seats. NHRA is the same way. Half empty even on Sunday. The old guys are dying off or just losing interest.

 

I watched Eldora when I got home (DVR) because I like the trucks on dirt. Other than that maybe Darlington last year??

 

Talladega is like that. Hell half the people never even went into the stands just watched it on TV at their camper.

 

i was deeply into the old stock car racing, drag racing, and funny cars.

like anything else, it became too commercialized. now i only watch "some" NFL, and many times, i could care less about that too.

i have a relative that works at Lowes. he gets paid bird feed. yet each year, Lowes and Home Depot, spend over $60 million dollars for NASCAR sponsorship....

but they cannot pay their employee's a livable wage?

 

Nascar is like trucking lately, to many regulations..... “you can’t do it this, you can’t do that”...... takes all the fun out of it. The “Bush” brothers don’t help it out any better with there constant whining and crying about everything.
