National 2 week quarantine??

They are all saying they don’t want to be the guy that (didn’t do enough). I understand there decisions. I will say it appears as though it is going to be more impactful than I originally thought too.

 

Listen guys. Trump's latest news conference and other sources have said no national lickdown no national guard on fed level.

Basically it's up to each state and it's being 'requested' when they do it. We're not under martial law. So it's not against the law. They're saying if you care about helping others and slowing the spread. Please keep your arse isolated for a while.

 

Interestingly enough almost 25% of the cases in Ohio all come from direct contact at a nursing facility in the Troy Ohio area.

 

Here is what I don't understand......

There is little doubt that the large companies are going to receive some federal $...….call it whatever you want to be a bailout, stimulus $, etc. At the end of the day though it will Billions, if not Trillions of federal money that will be given out to these large companies like United Airlines, Holiday Inn, etc.
Their appears to be momentum as well for the federal government to issue checks of roughly $1200 per individual and $500 for each child.....but there are stipulations of $75K of income for individual and $150K per household.
As a society are we that far out of touch to believe that those folks making more than this don't have bills as well? I mean if you are a millionaire it probably is different but I bet most folks that make $200K-$500K have a mortgage that matches that income level. A bigger paycheck in many cases just means bigger bills.

 

60 million people got swine flu? I have been paying attention to it since it happened and have never heard rumor of a single person, and i worked in a factory of 3000 people in a major city. Did not hear of a single case by any person in my life.

60 MILLION people got it but not one celebrity that i can recall. Seems odd.

 

I think I may have gotten the swine flu but never got tested to confirm it. I drove to the ER myself because I noticed something was really bad. I remember they gave me a shot, and I fainted. Once they gave me some medication, I was fine. The lady in the ER said it was the flu and perhaps the swine flu.

So CNN is just showing that 24K Americans have COVID 19 and 285 have died.
Again, I realize these are two different things here but just look at the numbers and explain to me why COVID is a bigger issue?
