I drive a 2007 Volvo with National seats, this isn't a Volvo specific problem, but there isn't a general category, so...

Two issues: 1) The right armrest on the driver's seat just freewheels, not usable, is there something loose or does the armrest need to be replaced with a new one? How does the armrest remove from the seat back?

    2) This seat has the "Back Cycler" function, as far as I can tell this feature is totally inoperative, I don't even know how this is supposed to work, I assume with some sort of control board? Anybody have an idea where to start the troubleshooting on this feature?

If you're ever at the T/A or Petro in Ontario, CA there is a Chrome Shop across the Street from the Petro that can repair or replace any parts on your seat or any other Make of seat, they could also diagnose the issue with your "Back Cycler" function. I had some worn parts on my National Seat and it was repaired at a reasonable price.

The address is California Custom Truck Accesories, 59 S. Milliken Ave, Ontario, CA 91761, (800) 876-5474, ask for Allen.

You could also try Elmer's Truck Seat Repair, 7834 Santa Fe Ave, Huntington Park, CA 90255 (323) 588-8457

Good evening. The arm rest issue is a 5 dollar part. Easy to fix. If the arm rest is free wheeling, you might be able to simply pull the arm rest out. If so, then
you should be able to see there is a metal clip that goes into the arm rest. Replace the clip and reinsert the arm. Rotate till it clicks into place.

Volvo should have the arm rest part. I replace mine and I have a spare onboard.

Before installing the arm rest with new clip, make sure the old clip isn't in the hole where the arm rest came from.

Back feature, I'm not familiar with.
