I saw that too and thought about how ironic the timing was of the post. From the immoral actions of navajo. It would not surprise me if it will be in a new addendum to the trainers guide Titled " How to keep your trainee from getting back inside after you just abandoned them on top of a mountain pass."

Pj Wasn't someone willing to pick up the tab to get your stuff shipped? I think it is a far cry from "Not wanting to take anyones money" To not accept a gift especially at this time of yar, Besides you not allowing those people to help you have kept those people from receiving the blessings or the return of the fsvor from them also, I think 6-12 months down the road you are going to want to go back and do this differently, I would suggest that you get the stuff shipped and then get on a Greyhound either at your expense or at these guys that offered to help! just my 2 cents worth, and then when you get a feel for the industry then you can go back into practice and do other favors for other people at your expense. Just my ideas.

I know sr is pretty old , I'm sure jr and the executive Vp probably handle things. One thing for sure A field agent is likely coming lol
A few things will get their attention Employee complaints,Consumer Complaints, Csa Scores and some accident scenarios.

The immorality of the Corporate world trucking company's specifically, never ceases to amaze me .

PJ doesn't want our help otherwise she would have taken a members offer for a bus ticket.Member would have got a bus ticket ASAP.So for now all we can do is be in her corner and give her all the support she needs.

    :confused1: OK,I'm back, what did I miss?

PJ, it sounds to me as if you should look into the Grey Dog as a way home. Offers of help have been made. Don't look at it as a handout, but a handup. Pay it forward somewhere down the road. Help out another person in need when ya can. Maybe a few big boxes to ship UPS, or Greyhound, for your things.

It would appear that Navajo isn't going to do what's right, so it's up to you. Either way, keep us updated.

When my boss dumped me in this little town of maybe 200 at most in the freezing cold like it is now,I had all kinds of support more then I could imagine. The motel offered me a free room that night,a customer at the motel was willing to give me money.Drivers from the company was going to pick me up.I took a ride from a religious friend of the motel staff to get a car an hr away within a couple hrs after I was dumped. This happened 2 days before Christmas.

Oh contraire, Miss Pattyj! You already have been helping from my first post and on! Your thoughts, suggestions, offers, prayers, and really importantly, helping to get the word out is exactly the help was looking for. You've returned it in spades.

I know you don't understand my reluctance to, as I said in earlier posts, put into motion the logistics of getting my stuff shipped (there's no UPS here), let alone carrying it to a location where I could store or ship it. It's not such a viable option as you would think. The only thing close to me is a Safeway and a convenience store; everything else is at least a mile and 1/2 hike from here. It has warmed up to 23 degrees, but the wind chill factor brings it down to around 9 degrees. I've never traveled by bus, and I'm sorry if this irritates anybody, but I don't relish the thought. It's 20 hours travel time, multiple stops, and 3 layovers. And, again, I would have to catch the bus in Ellensburg, 20 miles away, at 1:10 in the morning. Would you want to do all that? Nobody would, and nobody should have to.

So, thank you again for all your help. Like I said to buckeyecowboy, as far as my accepting cash and tickets, I'm ###### if I do, and ###### if I don't.

Please continue to offer thoughts and suggestions, and feel free to ask me anything you're wondering about that might not make sense to you. You can pm me or ask out here.

    Take care! :)

Lux Prometheus and xlsdraw Thank this.

Im not at all doubting this happened.I do believe you,but why are you not getting home? Are you going to wait another week for this so called lady to come get you.Its not going to happen. Her not making an ounce of effort to call you proves that. You have all kinds of support here.Hope you read the facebook page.I posted many comments.OJ you really need to get it together and get on the bus and head home unless there is a reason why you're not in no big hurry.
