Navajo Express

With only 7 months experience 34 cents then in 6 months I go to 35 cents.

 

That seems low for reefer, but things are getting tough out there.

 

Well when you dont have a lot of experience what is a person to do. I know there is this company named Arnold Transport that will offer me 40 cents to start out then in 6 months go to 42 cents but that is Dry Van

 

Worry more about miles not cents

 

They all promise the same miles but none so far has delivered. Arnold is going to give me 2100-2300 weekly as they say and Navajo says you must hit 11,500 monthly to get any bonus.

 

That seems tough to hit on reefer where you have to sit at grocery stores for hours on end.

 

I can confirm they said I'd be getting 12,000 miles a month and starting out at that 35cpm whatever it was. I am scheduled to start with them next week but already I am a bit skeptical because I was due to start this week and couldn't fly out at the time. For the reschedule they said I couldn't fly because I didn't use it the first time. Uh..why didn't they tell me this in the beginning?

I was told the same thing about the ticket after they ordered my airline ticket and could not come due to a medical problem at home. So are you going to them I am thinking about still going to them next week though. I have talked to some people who have worked for them and told me to go and it will be a good place for a while

 

I just thought that was a bit odd they couldn't rebook the flight. It was cheaper than Greyhound. Chinatown recommends them and they were very nice over the phone.
