Navplus Freezing

Hey Waylon, I have same year and model along with same navplus issue. Drove me nuts.
Kw knew of issue said $100 dollar update cure it.
Hated to but did it. Never happened again.
In long run, worth the hundred bucks.

How many months in service / miles were on your truck & when did you have this completed? You may have been able to have that done under warranty as it was a warrantable failure.

 

It was 14 months old, warranty expired
2 months prior.

 

Warranty on the nav system is 36 months, 350,000 miles.

 

Warranty won't cover unit that is operating while at dealer.
It "freeze's up" sporadically, dealership knew of issue and installed Update, for a fee of course, still freezes up just not as often.
Garmin Navigation in unit is one notch above useless.
Still would not recommend NavPlus unit to anyone on a new truck purchase.

 

Not sure what you're trying to say here....

The warranty is 36 months / 350,000 miles. There's an update out that corrects the freezing. It should have been done for free.
