Don't use too much of that spine whining about dome lights and gps's, it just will not work out so well.
For future references, all dome lights have some sort of bulb, remove it or take the wire loose, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to do this.
Rand Mcnally and a phone has served me well for years, there is no reason to have to have a gps, I guess they are nice, but you see what happens if you rely on one, and it will not be the last time either.
As far as dragging them trailers tires off in the ditch and hitting poles, if it is bad enough that the company finds out about it, termination is normal pretty much anywhere. If you ran a whopping 6500 miles in 4 weeks, then had a wrecker call and possibly a pole to pay for, it would not surprise me at all if the company did not come out at a loss just on those two incidents, much less training, drug testing and what not.
You have to remember, your main job is making them money, that is the one and only need they have for you.

Never turned down a load before. My specialty is running those loads that pickup at 2100 after delivering at 0800. I love em. Everybody else hates them. Fine with me . u guys can deal with the moronic 4 wheelers and construction and traffic and bright sunlight and interstates being shutdown for accidents etc etc . i hate to be that guy, but some of yall is lazy , saying u wont run at night and only between certain hours . i would not hire a driver that expected this job to have the same schedule everyday . thats what makes this job awesome is the challenge and pushing urself. Atleast for me. To each their own. I dont mean any disrespect , just my opinion on the matter.

 

That's why I love coast to coast refrigerated trucking. Hate being awake during daylight hours.
