Need a car moved

For the record I’m a auto transporter and I like to get paid cash because you can deliver a car and get paid with a check and then the customer can bounce the check and slip off in to the night to never be seen again.
I also like to be paid cash so you don’t get a stop pay on a check when a customer says you put a quarter inch scratch on his car 3 weeks after delivery with a signed clean delivery inspection with pictures.
If you are not or ever been an auto hauler it may be hard to understand?
As a case in point I doubt a freight hauler ever got a stop pay because a pallet had a broken board or a scratch on it.
Or how about a gasoline hauler getting a stop pay because 10 oz of the load hit the ground when the lines were unhooked?
Or the grain haul because 20 kernels of corn were on the ground from the load where just they unloaded.
Car haul is A very different animal and you have to be very precise with load and unload with zero margin for error.
Because of this it is a industry that can be ripe for false claims so companies and drivers need to take precautions not only loading and unloading but also getting paid.

True that ! ...taxes is the last thing you think at this point ...i had cars driven away that was sitting next to the trailer when customer had second set of keys and you went for something to the cab ...even cops refused to do anything - thats his car dude and he can have it , sue him or leave ...can you pls park the car in the garage - sure i can , you are such a nice lady , can i have a payment pls - i paid to the broker already ...indian car full of scratches all over been delivered with condition report and million pics - 3 days later REINDEER is emailing you damage claim ....run and drive vehicle became non runner during the transport - you broke my car ....the list goes on and on

 

Cheaper to fly out and drive it back.

Cheap plane tickets these days.
Fuel cheaper driving the Suburban.
No HOS on your return trip.
Run hard and get back to work or slow and make is vacation.

 

This is what I would do . Stop by walmart and get an inflatable mattress and hit some national parks on the way back .
I am assuming there is plenty of room to sleep in a suburban

 

Plenty of room for like 4.

 

A night or two in the redwood forests , then the grand canyon, pop up to Moab then I70 with a night in the front range.
From there its just one night in a hotel in Missouri then home.

 

Just hire a box truck like this guy did. Saw this in Columbus OH 2 weeks ago.

 

... suburban is 20ft long.... Or close to 19

 

Lucky for you they make 24 ft box trucks!!!
